Concept: For Converse’s first installment of Chuck House, we created a space in LA ahead of Coachella for people to come by, hang out, and interact with our product in a new way. The goal was to create a homey indoor / outdoor space that didn’t feel like a retail store to encourage connection and conversation, and for guests to leave excited to style their new Converse shoes. We hosted styling appointments, outdoor DJ sets, a book launch for stylist Jasmine Benjamin, and a vintage pop up by Marquis Miller. We collaborated with 5 customizers to create customized shoes and Converse apparel. We saw 500 guests come through and heard sound bites such as “it felt like LA was so back in the best way”. The interior was made to feel inviting and invite relaxation with localized objects, details and plenty of product inspo at every corner.
